The Choice is Yours, Choose Experience
We know that you are in pain. In most cases you will be evaluated and the test will be completed right away. The results of the test and nature of the problem will be explained to you and treatment options will be discussed. You will be given a copy of the report to take with you and a copy will be faxed to your primary doctor. This will allow you to begin your recovery as soon as possible.
Because of Dr.Masceri's experience performing EMG tests, his gentle technique and the warm, professional atmosphere of the office and office staff, the vast majority of patients have very little trouble with the test. In fact, many patients who have been unable to complete the test elsewhere have no difficulty completing the test when done by Dr.Masceri. This is the difference experience makes.

The EMG Test
An electromyogram (EMG) is a test that is used to detect the abnormal electrical activity of muscles and nerves that can occur in many diseases and conditions, including muscular dystrophy, inflammation of muscles, pinched nerves, peripheral nerve damage (damage to nerves in the arms and legs), myasthenia gravis, disc herniation, and others. The EMG test helps to distinguish between these conditions and those that are not muscle or nerve related. So, if you have concerns schedule an appointment with us today.
